With the long hot Arizona summer still facing the church members, the Fellowship Ministry decided it was time for a little cooling off. So they put together a potluck to celebrate Christmas In July. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to get a head start on the holidays either!
The Fellowship Hall was full of members and guests, and the tables overflowed with lovingly prepared, delectable food and desserts. It was a time to cool down and visit with friends and just enjoy oneself. The wonderful meal was followed by the singing of Christmas carols, with the leadership of the Praise Singers. We had a lot of laughs , especially when we sang and were divided into small groups to act out the Twelve Days of Christmas.
The evening would not have been the same, if it wasn’t for our own Santa Claus (Lowell Kuester). He made this evening very special for all of the church family, including the children, who received small gifts from Santa..This is just one way Northminster Church members enjoy the fellowship and the many friendships that comes from our church family.
So, if you are looking for a church to call home, don’t look any further. You have found it here at Northminster Presbyterian Church. We welcome all to join us!
