Bio – Pastor Mat Brown

Pastor Mat was born in North Carolina and grew up in the Richmond, Virginia area. After college, Mat married his best friend, Rebekah and they have been married for over 35 years. After serving seven years in the United States Air Force, Mat worked as a General Contractor and then felt called to full-time vocational ministry. He began his studies at The Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond in 1997 where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. After serving five churches in Virginia, Mat and Rebekah moved to Sun City, Arizona in 2019. They have two adult sons and four grandchildren. Mat loves to hike, fish, and play strategy games.
